Some women book a boudoir session to mark a milestone. Others do it to reclaim something they’ve lost. For Miss M, stepping in front of the camera at Indium Boudoir was about both—an intentional pause to honor the woman she’s become.

Local to Kansas City, Miss M had followed Indium on Instagram for a while, hearing about us through her family photographers who spoke highly of the experience. But it wasn’t until she approached her 30s—this new, defining era—that she finally said yes to herself.

“I kept waiting for the perfect moment,” she shared. “When I’d lost the weight, when I felt confident enough… but then I realized I look back on old photos with so much kinder eyes than I had when they were taken.”

After bringing three children into the world within four and a half years, Miss M decided it was time to stop postponing her confidence until everything felt ‘perfect.’ Her body had carried her through decades of life, love, and motherhood.
